Prof.MUDr. Emil Martinka, Ph.D.
Associate Professor Emil Martinka has been the head of the National Diabetes Centre at the National Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetes in Ľubochna since 2000. He founded the first comprehensive Centre for diabetic foot and introduced new treatment procedures as the first in Slovakia.
He is the author of several scientific articles and paper works and co-author of several important books in the field of diabetes, endocrinology and genetics.

Dr. József Constantin Széles
For more than 15 years, Dr. József Constantin Széles has been a world leader in the field of wound surgery and special pain therapy using vagus nerve stimulation.
He is also involved in the treatment of chronic wounds, where the principles of treatment are based on his long experience in vascular surgery as well as the outpatient clinic at the Vienna General Hospital (AKH), which he managed for 10 years.

Dr. n. med. Sebastian Borys
He cooperates with the Department of Metabolic Diseases at the University Hospital in Krakow. He gained his knowledge and improved his skills during postgraduate internships and courses, among others in Munich, Rheine, Düsseldorf, Maastricht, London.
He is also the author and co-author of numerous articles, scientific publications and chapters in textbooks on metabolic diseases and the diabetic foot. He is a member of the diabetic foot company of the European Society for the Study of Diabetes (DFSG;EASD) and the Polish Diabetes Association (PTD).

Prof. Christoph Neumayer, MD.
Dr. Christoph Neumayer is University Professor at the Department of Surgery, Clinical Department of Vascular Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna.
His clinical interests include the treatment of complex aortic aneurysms, diseases of the thoracic aorta, treatment of prosthesis infections, carotid artery and supraaortic branch surgery, peripheral vascular surgery and endothoracic sympathectomy. He publishes about clinical and experimental vascular surgery and regularly lectures at national and international meetings. Moreover he is a reviewer for many scientific journals.
